Once you’ve found your Tempo home, a Home Specialist will work with you to help fine-tune the details.

Pick a lender

Next, you’ll work with a lender of your choice to get financing (if needed) and help find land for your home (if not yet found).

Find a spot

Last but definitely not least, you’ll locate and secure the land (or RV park) for your home and take one step closer to move-in day.

5-Step Financing Checklist

  • 1. Apply for Financing
  • Select a lender. Submit your loan application. Provide all required financial info.
  • 2. Confirm Home Price
  • Receive your official loan approval. Discuss final home pricing with us.
  • 3. Sign the Agreement
  • Agree on the final sales price. Sign your purchase agreement.
  • 4. Secure with Deposit
  • Pay your required home deposit.
  • 5. Close the Loan
  • Lender coordinates final closing process.

5-Step Pre-Construction Checklist

  • 1. Secure Your Land
  • Finalize the property or plot where your home will be built.
  • 2. Assess the Property
  • Have a certified contractor evaluate the land setup.
  • 3. Apply for Financing
  • Submit your loan application and financial info to your chosen lender.
  • 4. Initiate Local Permits
  • Begin applying for necessary septic and building permits. 
  • Note: Permitting varies by location—your Customer Success Manager can guide you.
  • 5. Utilize Wait Time
  • Use your conditional loan approval waiting window to secure these permits.

  • The big delivery day arrives! Your new home is safely transported directly to your home site.
  • 3. On-Site Construction
  • Specialized installation crews assemble your home. Final setup and structural construction are completed on-site.
  • 4. Final Walk-Through
  • Tour your completed home alongside your Customer Success Manager or local retailer representative. Double-check that everything is functioning perfectly before moving in.
  • 5. Key Hand-Off
  • Receive your official homeowner’s information packet and appliance manuals. Collect your shiny new front door keys. Ahhh!
